The Last Family Vacation (for a while)

I've always had a superstition about great vacations. It seems
that once you have had a great time in one place it can never
be quite as good as it was the previous time. This vacation
proved me wrong and I'm grateful.

Lake Tahoe....what a wonderful place to relax.

This must be muscle beach and the muscles are still in the water. (HeHe)

The water was crystal clear and snorkeling was great. The
cold water allowed for warm up time on shore. The
beach was great but a little crowded.

We must be in California!!!

When the tree is soaked in sunshine it smells like butterscotch and vanilla.

It was worth the hike to Eagle Lake just to get this picture.
What a bunch of great looking kids.
It's funny but the last time we were in Tahoe,
Dave was just a boyfriend.

Nathan and Ty must have spent two hours trying to catch this
crawdad. Nate wanted to eat it but Dad just couldn't stand the
thought of it. He talked Nathan into letting the poor thing go.
It was and still is about 7" long.

Hooray! We had a great vacation!!
