Well the summer is coming to an end. Do you remember those horrid ward picnics at the Bowery? This year we did something a bit more exciting. We rented the Farmington Pool for three hours, put out 6 footers, salads and desserts and had a ball. Well not really a ball because we forgot the volleyball but we (they) did play basketball in the pool. We were there until 10:00pm. This is a shot that Lauren insisted on (of course). It was supposed to be just our family but Dad adopted two little beehives who tried in vain to push him into the water...didn't happen. You know Dad. It was a good way to finish off the summer. Maybe next year we can do it with the Johnsons.
