Dad finally found the time to put in the sidewalk next to the future shed (2010). I could hear the smoothing sound and thought it was Dad. Nope, Dad had gone to return the cement mixer and there was Lauren smoothing concrete.She went from farming (weeding) to concrete to Subway then finished it off with a date. It's hard to believe I gave birth to such ambition.
Of course they had to pose for a shot with their handy work. It does look pretty darn nice for amatuers.
Nate and Ty found an adolescent robin in Christensen's gutter and rescued it. It didn't take long for the parents to start the attack. Gabby loved it but the boys weren't so thrilled. They put the bird down and the parents carried it back.
For several days after that whenever Gabby would go out in the yard the birds would dive bomb her. Cats and birds, what more could a dog want.
